1. Acceptance & Scope

By accessing RSID Database ("RSID"), you agree to these Terms. RSID provides fixed-length, 7-character reference identifiers for operational use and does not replace established market identifiers.

2. Intellectual Property

All RSID identifiers, algorithms, datasets, and documentation remain the exclusive property of RSID Registry. Access grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for internal use only.

3. Permitted Use

RSID may be used free of charge for internal operational purposes, including:

  • Settlement, reconciliation, and custody operations
  • Position reference and corporate actions processing
  • Internal reporting and system integration
  • Check digit validation

Sharing with service providers (sub-custodians, auditors, technology partners) is allowed for operational purposes only.

4. Prohibited Use

Without written permission, users may not:

  • Redistribute or commercialise RSID data
  • Create competing identifier systems
  • Reverse engineer RSID components
  • Present RSID as an official exchange or regulatory identifier

5. Bulk ISIN Handling

Users may submit their own licensed ISINs to map to RSIDs. Downloaded output contains RSID + status only; no ISINs are provided.

Status flags: Matched / Not Covered / Invalid / Duplicate

Important: RSID Registry does not distribute ISINs or CUSIPs. ISINs are proprietary to ANNA/NNA and shown for reference only.

6. Data Quality & Updates

Data provided "as-is" without warranties. Users responsible for operational controls, reconciliation, and validation. RSID may update datasets at any time; users responsible for using current version.

7. Disclaimer & Liability

RSID provided "AS IS". Maximum liability: greater of fees paid in prior 12 months or USD 100. Not liable for indirect, consequential, or business losses.

8. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify RSID Registry for claims arising from misuse, unauthorized redistribution, or third-party violations.

9. Privacy & Monitoring

Information collected: name, email, organization, declared use case, access logs. Used for access, compliance, service improvement; not sold. Users may request deletion of personal data.

10. Modifications & Termination

RSID may modify Terms; continued use = acceptance. Access may be terminated for violations, security concerns, or at RSID discretion.

11. Governing Law

England & Wales. Parties agree to attempt 30-day good-faith resolution before litigation.
